I’m Lee, a writer living in Cornwall.

This website is my field journal. It holds observations, memories, stories and reflections gathered from faith, nature, everyday life and the places I visit along the way.

I write about whatever catches my attention. That might be a holy well, a forgotten saint, a walk through the woods, something in the kitchen, or a memory that returns without warning. 

Some pieces are only a few lines long. Others grow into essays, pilgrimages or books. I also often use photographs, sketches and film to accompany what I’ve written. 

I don’t know exactly where the writing will lead. One day I might follow St Neot across Cornwall, and the next I might write about a wasp. The other week, I spent three days thinking about butter. That uncertainty is part of my work.
